Diesel

FB_JOB_7765-Edit

Introducing Diesel! Diesel is an outgoing, curious 6 year old (dob January 2012) German Shepherd. This fella is 120 pounds of handsome and because of this Diesel is not available to families with children under 10 years. He would feel really bad if he knocked someone over with all his loveliness. Diesel is the star attendee at his daycare.

He loves to play with both this large and small canine friends and is especially gentle with those smaller then him. Diesel has lived with a cat in his past life, however he has not been cat tested in our care. Diesel loves to meet and greet people, he is a social butterfly. So the question is what do you need to bring to the table for Diesel.

Well, you would need to enjoy companionship as he likes nothing more then to hop in the car or truck with you and go for a drive. And if meeting people on the other end of that drive is part of that, well that is a bonus! You would have to enjoy exercise as this boy loves his walks and there is a very good chance that he may enjoy mushing if given the opportunity.

You would have a fenced in yard so he can enjoy the outside with you present but uninhibited by a lead. Diesel would also prefer if you were not away from home for long hours. He is highly social and enjoys being with his people. Adoption is not one sided however so the question must be asked “what homework does Diesel have?”

Well, he needs to brush up on his house manners and his leash manners which he promises to do in the right home . We don’t feel this will take long as he so aims to please. So there you have it, if you have no young children under 10, enjoy exercise, want company, have an appropriate fenced yard, then Diesel just may be a match for you. Apply today.

Obedience training is mandatory.

Please fill out the adoption application found at www.animalrescuecoalitions.com and email it back to ARC. Your application will be processed in a timely manner. Only approved applications are eligible to meet any of our dogs for adoption. We do not operate out of a kennel so all of our dogs are placed in foster homes. Without the generosity and kind hearts of our foster families many of these dogs would not be able to have a second chance at a wonderful life. Baby Boomer

Hi! My name is Boomer and I’m a sweet four month old boy looking for his forever home. I’m up to date on all my needles and am house trained. I sleep through the night and my foster family think I am a great little boy. I will not stay little, my vet says I may reach 75 pounds ( this is a guesstimate)! You can see by my pictures I am very handsome and orange in colour. I behave well most of the time but am still a puppy who is learning what is ok to chew and what I shouldn’t chew. My new family will have to work with me learning new tasks like walking on my leash( I still pull if you let me), gentle play ( I think fingers are toys and still need correcting), and sit, stay etc. are still being mastered. If you are looking for me please contact ARC. My foster family will be happy to let you meet me once the paperwork for pre-adoption is filled out. I am a pretty happy, good natured boy but need to be with my forever peeps to start bonding.

You will be required to find a trainer and do obedience with me as it will make me a good canine citizen. If you think you can give me everything I need and in return I can give you my unconditional love please fill out at application.

Callie

This is Callie. Callie is 4 years old and weighs 4.4 pounds. She is spayed and up to date with vaccines and flea treatment. Callie is a sweet girl who loves her people. She is not a barker and does not seem to be reactive to other dogs, people or cars. Callie loves the car but likes to wrap herself around your neck like a scarf so a seat belt is recommended for her. Callie is very shy when she first meets new people and will need time to get to know them. She does not bark at new people who come into the house she just avoids them. Callie does not like to be left alone and will cry when you leave her. She was not house trained but is doing very well with going outside. She still has the odd accident in the house. Callie is currently being fostered with three other small dogs and gets along great with them.
We will be looking for a family without small children who are either retired or work from home or who can take Callie to work with them. If you think you can make Callie the apple of your eye, please fill out an application.

Stella

Stella here, I am a 5-year-old female German Shepherd, spayed and up-to-date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick and worm preventative treatments.

I travel fairly well in a vehicle, I do not get car sick. I enjoy the snow very much, so we can be active together, no matter the weather.

I am a spirited girl who my trainer says is very smart. I require people who have German Shepherd experience, use only positive training methods and are committed to continuing my training.

My home is to be without cats, dogs and children – adults only.

Everyone says that I’m beautiful. Yes I am. But in life, looks are not important. We must be a match to live together. So read this write-up completely before you apply. Once you’ve applied and have been approved, you will get to meet me and my trainer, who will tell you what I will require to be the best canine citizen that I can be. I can only thrive if you put the work into our relationship.

I look forward to meeting you.
