Ellie

Oh Hi!

I’m straight out of the ZZ Top song, Legs, You know …..I’ve got legs, and I know how to use them. I never beg, I know how to choose them…

Oh Hi! My name is Ellie and I’m just chilling with all my friends here at my foster home playin’ like no one was watching. I really enjoy being part of an ever-changing family of dogs and people here! I’m a very social, friendly girl. I’m an Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees cross so I’m going to be a big girl when I grow up. I’m only 7 months old and just love being a puppy doing crazy puppy stuff. I listen very well and I’m pretty good on leash, but like all the ARC dogs I will be required to attend obedience class, so I can train you on how to work with me. I came from a family with children, but because of my size I’m better suited to be around bigger kids, just because I’m so rumbustious I may run over the wee ones.

My favourite game is playing chase and I’m the fastest girl here unless my good buddy Charlotte the Greyhound is here. That girl has legs that make mine look super short, lol!!

Like all patrol dogs It’s my nature to bark if I feel you need to be made aware that someone is on our property, but my foster dad comes out and let’s me know I did a good job and he’s got it from here and I settle back down well.

I am spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and I’d do well in a country setting with a fenced yard for me to patrol.

Obedience training is Mandatory for Ellie

Please fill out the adoption application found at www.animalrescuecoalitions.com and email it back to ARC. Your application will be processed in a timely manner. Please contact your vet clinic and give them permission to speak with us about your past and present pets. We will be checking that your pets have been spayed /neutered and kept up to date with vaccinations and yearly check ups.

Only approved applications are eligible to meet any of our dogs for adoption. We do not operate out of a kennel so all of our dogs are placed in foster homes. Without the generosity and kind hearts of our foster families many of these dogs would not be able to have a second chance at a wonderful life. This means that our Foster Parent’s time is very important to us and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Hugs

Ellie

Tasha

Hello everyone,

My name is Tasha. And I am an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel looking for my forever peeps.

So let me tell you a little bit about myself, my foster Mom says that I’m such a good girl! I am so happy and playful. I love going on walks and taking car drives with her. My foster Mom is surprised, I am not afraid of men, as a matter of fact I LOVE men.

I’m not fond of other dogs or cats, but that’s okay because I like being the one and only.

Being 8 years old, I do have a couple of health issues, one is that I’m deaf but that is not a problem because I will never take my eyes off of you!!

I do have allergies which are controlled by a special food (Royal Canin Hypoallergenic) and pills called Apoquel, both from the vet. I also have floppy ears which need to be cleaned and treated with Burows twice a week.  All of which I do very well on.

I just went to the vet for a dental cleaning, so I have a pearly white smile just for you!

My vaccinations are up to date and I had my preventative flea, tick and worm treatments.

So if you think that you would like to meet me, please fill out an application to get the ball rolling.

Thanks for reading, I hope to see you soon!

Woof Woof

Love Tasha

Dot

Woohoo spring is on its way!!!

My name is Dot. I am a Maltese Terrier mix about 11 years old. I am newly spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and had a lumpectomy on my tummy. I am feeling great!

I am looking for a quiet home to retire and enjoy life. I am visually impaired, but I do see shapes and shadows. As an older gal, my hearing is not what it used to be.

Do not let my age fool you, I loooove my walks and care rides. A chair or sofa in front of the window with the sun shining down is heavenly to me. I may be older but have loads of life to live.

I want a home with no children under the age of 16. This includes visiting children. I get along with dogs my size, not sure about large dogs.

It takes me a while to trust people so you will have to give me time to adjust to you and my surroundings.

When I first arrived at my foster home, I was not sure what they were going to do to me, so I would sometimes growl and give a little snap to make myself feel safe.  Those days are behind me now. I like nothing better than to snuggle and hang out with my humans.

I don’t like sharing my food and may growl if you get too close to my bowl. You also need to know I am obsessed with people food, but chicken is not my friend, it upsets my belly and bowel.

I would love to live with someone who is home a lot, retired or works from home. I am housebroken but I may have an accident or two when I first move in until my schedule is in place. I love belly rubs, snuggling in bed with you and giving kisses.
